IMC B2L Navigation Lane: Functions and Operations

  • Navigation lane is used for navigation of feature map.
  • Displays the epitome of the current genome sequence, of which the range displayed in the feature map is indicated by the gray area.
  • It is possible to grab the green inverted triangle and move the display range of the feature map at high speed.

Setting the navigation lane

  1. Right click the mouse on the navigation lane.
  2. The "Setup Navigation ..." menu is displayed.
  3. Select "Setup Navigation ...".
  4. The "Lane Style" dialog will be displayed.

Operation

  1. Only CDS, rRNA, tRNA are displayed in the navigation lane.
  2. Right click on the mouse on the navigation lane.
  3. The "Setup Navigation ..." menu is displayed.
  4. Select "Setup Navigation ...".
  5. The navigation lane style setting dialog is displayed.
  6. From the Feature menu select rRNA, tRNA only.
  7. First click on rRNA.

  9. Scroll through the menu and display tRNA.

  11. Hold down the Ctrl key and click tRNA.

  13. Click "Set".
  14. Only rRNA and tRNA are displayed in the navigation lane.

  16. Display the navigation lane in one line.
  17. Right click on the mouse on the navigation lane.
  18. The "Setup Navigation ..." menu is displayed.
  19. Select "Setup Navigation ...".
  20. The "Navigation Lane Style" setting dialog is displayed.
  21. Turn "Arrangement Policy" radio button "One Lane" on.
