The Feature Map tab pane allows you to customize the settings related to the feature shape, display color, display position, label, etc. of the feature.
You can also change settings related to the zoom and tick marks of feature maps in this tab pane.
Map Scale Parameters Section
In this section, you set the zoom and side scroll of the main feature map, the scale interval of the map, and the presence or absence of grid lines.
Zoom In pull-down menu: Select the zoom magnification of the feature map from the pull-down menu. With one mouse click, X2 will be doubled, X4 will be 4 times and X8 will be 8 times enlarged.
Zoom Out pull-down menu: Select magnification of the zoom out of the feature map from the pull-down menu. With one mouse click, X2 will be reduced by 2 times, X4 by 4 times, X8 by 8 times.
Map Shift Left pull-down menu: Select the horizontal scroll width of the main feature map from the pull-down menu. Select the left scroll width when the horizontal feature size of the main feature map is 1. With one mouse click, 1 scrolls the same width, ½ scrolls the width of 1/2 and 1/4 scrolls a quarter width.
Map Shift Right pull-down menu: Select the horizontal scroll width of the main feature map from the pull-down menu. Select the right scroll width when the horizontal feature size of the main feature map is 1. With one mouse click, 1 scrolls the same width, 1/2 is half width, 1/4 is right quarter width.
Interval of Scale Auto radio button: Turning on the radio radio button automatically sets the scale interval of the main feature map.
Interval of Scale Custom Radio button: Turning on the Custom radio button allows you to set the scale interval of the main feature map as desired.
Interval of Scale Custom Input Field: Custom In the input field, enter the scale interval of the main feature map directly. You can enter any positive integer with bp.
Show Grid Line checkbox: When checked, a grid (dotted line) is displayed in the feature lane of the main feature map.
Label section:
In this section you can change how the label displayed for features displayed in the feature lane of the main feature map will be displayed.
Max Visible Length of Label Input field: Enter a positive integer in this input field. The unit is the number of characters. The number entered here becomes the maximum number of characters displayed as a label, and characters exceeding the maximum value are not displayed. If you enter zero, the maximum value is not set and the entire label string is displayed.
Font Size pull-down menu: Specify the font size of the label displayed in the feature lane of the main feature map.
Layout Normal radio button: When on, labels to be written on each feature of the feature lane are displayed directly above the feature, and if there are multiple levels, they are all superimposed on the same position.
Layout Thin Out radio button: When on, the label to be written for each feature in the feature lane is displayed directly above the feature, and if there are multiple levels, only the first label is displayed.
Layout Shift radio button: When checked, labels to be written on each feature of the feature lane are shifted and displayed one by one from the top of the feature so that they do not overlap the information. If Y Offset is small in the feature lane, there is a possibility that the label will protrude from the display range. In this case, you need to increase the Y Offset value of the feature lane.
Feature section:
You can set the shape, color, display position, etc. of the feature to be displayed for each feature key. There are 29 types of shapes that can be selected.
Figure pull - down menu: Select the shape to display the feature from the pull - down menu. There are 11 patterns including selectable patterns.
Pattern pull-down menu: Select the pattern shape to use from the feature background from the pull-down menu.
Background Color Color Box: Click this color box to specify the fill color to be the background of the feature shape.
Border Color color box: Click this color box to specify the color of the frame of the feature shape.
Border Line Width pull-down menu: Change the thickness of the feature shape frame from the pull-down menu.
Layout Position check box: If this check box is checked, features will not be displayed on the feature lane but will be displayed on the array lane. At this time, only four kinds of figures can be selected.
Permanent Label Display check box: The label of the feature can be switched on / off with the LB button, but if this check box is checked and set to Permanent Label, the label will always be displayed regardless of whether the LB button is on or off It displays.
Labelling Qualifier pull-down menu: Select the Qualifier to use as a feature's label from the pull-down menu.
Feature key selection button section:
Select All on Label Display button: Clicking this button will check the Permanent Label Display of all feature keys.
Reverse Selected on Label Display button: By clicking this button,
Reverses the check status of Permanent Label Display. That is, uncheck the feature key that is being checked, and the unchecked feature key will be checked.
Intron figure selection button: Select the display method when displaying features with introns in the feature lane of the main feature map. When you click a shape, it is displayed in the selected format.
