Preparation

Load the closely related genome sequence (CDS must be annotated) to be compared into the current reference directory.

The latest version of IMC, version 8.123, has been released.

The releases of versions 8.120, 8.121, and 8.122 have been skipped.

• Fixed a bug that caused an error when starting IMC with HardKey License (LDK) .

Specification Change

• The row selection method for each IMC table has been reverted to the previous method of using checkboxes.
  
  • However, tables used in new functions such as the Genome Scale Model related table do not use checkboxes.

New Function

• Genome scale models written in Excel Format can now be loaded in the Local Pathway Builder function.

Symptom:
In tables that have a row selection function using checkboxes, such as Enzyme List Dialog, the checkboxes cannot be checked by clicking them.

Cause:
In IMC Version 8.104, the row selection method was changed to the ListSelection method.

Response:
In IMC Version 8.111, the row selection method was reverted to the previous method of using checkboxes.
However, some new functions do not use the checkbox selection method for row selection.

Dongle drivers for macOS10.14 Mojave and macOS10.15 Catalina have been released.

When the dongle LED does not light up on MacOS 10.14 or 10.15, you may be able to solve it by the following operations.

1. Open the system settings.
2. Click Security & Privacy.
3. If you see the message "System software form developer" SFNT Germany GmbH "was blocked from loading", click Allow.

If you do this, you must unlock it.

Phenomenon:

• New dongle LDK is not recognized, License Setting Dialog is displayed, and IMC cannot be started.

Target IMC Version:

• IMC Version 8.35

Occurrence OS:

• macOS

Cause:

1. Files required for IMC Install have not been copied to the system area.
2. The file user.properties in the IMC Install Directory does not have read/write permissions.

Solutions:

1. Copy hasp_darwin_31281.dylib in Mac/Library of IMC Install USB to /var/hasplm. Copying requires administrator privileges.
2. Give read and write permissions to the user.properties file located in Applications/imc/bin.

• Right-click on user.propeties in Finder and select "Get Info".
• Change the three permissions in "Sharing & Permissions" at the bottom of the info dialog to read/write. to change
• Unlock the bottom.
