Feature Migration
- Prokaryotic gene prediction (by MetaGeneAnnotator) has been migrated from processing on a remote Linux server (Annotation Server) to processing on the local PC (GENOME_ANALYSIS > ORF Finder). The remote Linux server is no longer required; it now runs directly on your local PC.
- Eukaryotic gene prediction (by AUGUSTUS) has been migrated from processing on a remote Linux server (Annotation Server) to processing on the local PC (GENOME_ANALYSIS > ORF Finder; IMC Premium OMICS Edition only). AUGUSTUS must be installed in advance to use this feature. See installation instructions here
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where, with an Activation (SoftKey) license, IMC always launched as GE regardless of the edition (GE/PE).
