IMC L04A Manual Annotation Procedure of Prokaryote Genome
Here is the procedure for manual genome annotation (only for prokaryotic CDS).
Operating procedure
- Load the genome base sequence into the main current directory.
- If the genome base sequence consists of many contig sequence files, please refer here.
- Extract ORF candidates and register them as new features.
- Translate the ORF candidate into amino acid and change it to CDS feature.
- Perform batch homology search.
