IMC B2C Common Lane Operations

You can use the "Layout Style" dialog to add lanes, edit, and delete lanes in the main feature map.

When loading a genomic sequence into the main current directory, the default layout style is usually applied and the main feature map is displayed according to the default layout style.

We will explain the example data "Bsub50kb.gbk" as an example.

This section explains how to add, edit, and delete lanes from the state where only the Vertical Scroll Bar lane is defined as the layout style.

First add the scale lane. Select Settings -> Layout Style ... from the menu.

The "Layout Style" dialog will be displayed.

Only "Vertical Scroll Bar" is displayed.

(Normally the default layout style is applied and other lanes are also displayed)

Add "sequence lane" here.

Click "Add" at the bottom of the dialog.

The "Lane Setting" dialog will be displayed.

By default, Feature Lane is displayed.

From the "Lane Type" pull-down menu, select "Sequence".

All the feature keys are selected and displayed on the above, but edit this and narrow down the feature keys displayed in the feature lane.

Check the "Feature" lane.

All of the feature keys in the Feature pull-down menu are selected, but click on "CDS" and only CDS is selected.
